The Opportunity:
This isn’t a “maintain what’s there” role.
This is a build, modernise, and shape the future role.
Our client is investing in a multi-year transformation programme to overhaul there IT environment and they need a hands-on Solutions Architect to sit at the centre of it.
You’ll be the architectural authority in the business, working directly with the Head of IT, designing and governing solutions across:
- Applications
- Infrastructure
- Cloud
- Integration
- Security & data
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll operate as both strategist and hands-on architect, including
- Designing end-to-end solutions across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environment
- Translating business needs into practical, scalable architecture
- Leading on integration, APIs, and data flow
- Supporting delivery teams through implementation, testing, and rollou
- Establishing architecture standards, governance, and best practice
- Acting as the bridge between business and technology
What they’re looking for Someone who can operate in complexity and build towards clarity.
- Strong all-round architecture experience (apps, infra, cloud, integration)
- Experience working in legacy-heavy or transformation environments
- Solid understanding of Azure (preferred), AWS or GCP
- Experience designing secure, scalable enterprise solutions
- Comfortable balancing innovation with governance
- Able to influence stakeholders and challenge constructively
