Software Engineer (Front End, Back End or Full Stack)
Glasgow (Hybrid Tue / Wed office)
Salary £35k - £60k depending on experience.
We’re partnering with a fast-growing UK scale-up, building technology that is transforming performance and risk management across multi-tenant real estate.
This is a genuine Tech for Good opportunity their platform processes over a billion data points per month, turning building, utility and sensor data into real-world insights that improve efficiency, sustainability and resident experience.
This is not a heavy-process corporate environment. It’s a scale-up where:
Engineers ship daily (cycle time measured in days, not weeks), there is real ownership and autonomy, the team is collaborative, ego-free and high-performing, AI tooling is actively used (Copilot, Claude Code, agents etc.)
Good ideas win, regardless of job title.
They’ve been through the typical scale-up adjustments over the past two years and are now focused, pragmatic and building for long-term growth.
Tech Stack
• Frontend / Mobile (React, TypeScript, React Native)
• Backend (.NET 10, REST APIs, Azure)
• Data (PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, MSSQL)
• Infrastructure (Azure serverless, Terraform, Microservices architecture)
