Job Title:

Full Stack Engineer (Vue.js / Python)

Location:

UK Fully Remote

Work Type:

Full Time

Sector:

Software Engineering & Development

Date Published:

26-Mar-2026

We’re working with a well-established UK-based technology business operating within the property/lettings space. Founded in the mid-2010s, the company has grown into a profitable, product-led organisation with a strong customer base and consistent revenue.

They are now entering an exciting new phase expanding their platform and building additional products to support a more transparent, efficient and modern rental ecosystem.

This is a great opportunity to join at a pivotal stage: the business is stable, proven, and growing  but still small enough for engineers to have genuine influence.

The Opportunity

They are hiring 2 Full Stack Engineers (front-end leaning) to join a small, high-impact engineering team.

This is not a “ticket factory” role you’ll have real ownership:
  • Build and ship features end-to-end
  • Influence product direction and architecture
  • Work closely with product, commercial and customer teams
  • See your work directly impact real users and revenue
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Building high-quality frontend features (primarily Vue.js )
  • Contributing across the stack ( Python/Django, Node/TypeScript, AWS )
  • Owning projects from idea → delivery → iteration
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to solve real business problems
  • Improving architecture, tooling, and engineering standards
  • Enhancing CI/CD and development processes
Tech Environment
  • Frontend: Vue.js (open to React/JS backgrounds)
  • Backend: Python / Django (plus some Node/TypeScript)
  • Infrastructure: AWS (Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, Elastic Beanstalk)
  • Database: Postgres
  • DevOps / Tooling: CircleCI, Datadog, Sentry
You’ll be working on a live, revenue-generating platform used daily across the UK performance, reliability and UX genuinely matter.

What They’re Looking For
  • ~3–5 years experience building production web applications
  • Strong frontend experience (Vue preferred, React/JS transferable)
  • Backend exposure (Python/Django ideal)
  • Experience with testing (unit/integration, e.g. Cypress)
  • Some exposure to cloud (AWS or similar)
  • Comfortable owning work and making pragmatic decisions
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
  • Curious mindset and desire to continuously improve
Engineering Culture (AI-Forward)
This team actively integrates AI into development workflows:
  • Code generation, refactoring, debugging, and testing
  • Exploring new AI-powered engineering practices
  • Encouraged to experiment and shape how AI is used
This is a great opportunity to build real-world AI engineering experience , not just theory.

Why This Role Stands Out

Real Ownership
You’ll own meaningful features and decisions not just implementation.

Direct Business Impact
Your work directly influences revenue, customer experience and operations.

Architecture Influence
You’ll help shape how the platform evolves as new products are launched.

Small, High-Trust Team
Collaborative, low-ego environment focused on quality and growth.

Package & Benefits
  • Salary:
    • £40k–£55k (mid-level)
    • Up to ~£70k (senior profile)
  • Bonus: 10% (paid quarterly)
  • Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays (33 total)
  • Personal Development: £1,500 annual budget (training, books, tools etc.)
  • Wellbeing Allowance: Monthly support (flexible usage)
  • Private Medical: Vitality
Working Setup
  • Fully remote (UK-based)
  • Occasional meetups (London, infrequent — e.g. every few months)
  • Team distributed across the UK (including Scotland)
  • Company-wide socials (e.g. summer / Christmas events)
